Neighbourhood space
NEWSSTAND
- Year
- —
- Location
- West District, Taichung, Taiwan
- Scope
- Establishment / Spatial design
- Practice
- Solid Studio / Assumption Design Office
A neighbourhood space established and designed by mode, extending the studio into everyday life.
On Minquan Road in Taichung, NEWSSTAND is a place beyond the studio: somewhere to use, encounter and keep changing.
Display, reading, conversation and a moment of pause are considered together. The project looks at how people enter from the street, spend time here and return to their day.
